How should we re-define airborne?
How I would define airborne: my personal opinion
The number of seconds/minutes/hours the particle/virus can stay suspended in air. It could be dependent on the air: humidity, temperature, pressure, oxygen content, co2 content, air speed, closed vs open spaces, and other factors.
Hence the chance that someone could inhale X number of particles could be dependent on the time it takes for the particle to reach the ground.
ኮቪድ ከያዘኝ ምን ማድረግ አለብኝ/What to do when you catch covid
The following is my opinion and suggestions especially for Ethiopians in Ethiopia who are in the midst of a Pandemic. Please consult with your Primary care provider before implementing any of the following suggestions.
If you have any questions please email me or contact me on Facebook and I will try to help if I can. The links can be found on the home page under “about me”. I am hoping we can extend the Good Samaritan extension here on the internet in the future.
1. Dont stay indoors with ‘other people’
2. If you stay in doors with ‘other people’ make, sure there are at-least two opposing windows open wide or buy a ventilation system to clean the trapped air
3. Use N95/kn95 masks or other brands that have better filtration (my opinion based on the size of Covid/Sars virus
4. If you get covid: use Tylenol/paracetamol for fever/headache/body ache, warm fluids, rest, hot soups. Open outside windows to clean the air w/o risking others. Only use antibiotics if you start producing yellow mucous.
5. Vaccinate. especially if you have any risks. Pfizer might have better outcomes and the name sounds cool and sounds like father. 6. The chance to revaccinate in the fall might be possible for the new variants. Again, opinion. ‘Other people’: people that you dont know if they have high or low exposure and/or immunity level For more information www.cdc.gov and www.who.int https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/clinical-guidance-management-patients.html
US vs Ethiopian Covid treatment protocols, 2021 and still fighting Covid?!
This is not a medical advice. This page is intended to share information only. The rate of covid-19/20/21 has started to increase worldwide. Especially in the colder regions of the world in the US and Ethiopia. I hope to see if the rates decline when the weather gets warmer here in Pa. Because there are no enough beds or hospitals and also financial capabilities available in countries like Ethiopia, people self treat their disease with a recommendation of a pharmacist. Most people with covid have no symptoms and do not need any medications.
The current treatment for covid in US according to the links below is: Antiviral: remedisvir Corticosteroid: dexametasone Anti pain and fever: tylenol Fluids Rest Use of antibiotics is warranted when there is suspected bacterial superinfection.
Covid19 Vaccine: Who should get it first ?
Finally, we have COVID19 vaccine. I just heard on the news that healthcare workers will be one of the first to get the vaccine. I believe that should be done case by case. If a person has caught the virus, most probably most healthcare workers have caught it by now, they are naturally vaccinated. Vaccination is the introduction of weakened or dead virus and initiating a small battle to prepare the body for the real war.

Premenstrual symptoms Vs Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD)
Premenstrual symptoms (PMS) affect many women due to the natural increase and decrease of hormones during the process the body undergoes to prepare the body to support a human life.
Does cold weather support Covid19 and the Flu ?
Research has indicated that viruses enjoy the cold weather. As the weather gets warmer viruses tend to die may be due to the lack of a cell wall or a cell membrane. The CDC is advising people to take precautions seriously. The Flu/Influenza Virus, according to research, thrives in cold weather. Which explains why its a seasonal disease and returns during the winter. In addition, the winter might decrease people’s immunity due to many reasons. Some of the reasons our fighting skills decrease are due to: lack of sunlight a source of natural vitamin D, lack of physical exercise due to the cold weather, and over consumption of calories
